Busy-ness is Goodness

Custom Eyeglass Case
Custom Baby Booties
Custom Baby Booties
Heart Shaped Coin Pouch
Little Coin Pouch/Wallet

So the secret laboratory is hopping right now, with lots of goodies leathery and not. I am still working hard on getting sewing done and have actually managed to get a couple of things done for my Etsy shop. I also decided to make a few pieces of clothing and I am working on those in between sewing, gluing, and painting, and everything else. I also started working with herbs again, so I am making all sorts of gooey and fun stuff with plants and oils. I thought I would do a bit of show and tell today and hopefully I will have many more pictures to share in the next few weeks.

The Baby Booties Are Done!

I finished up the booties I was working on for the Etsy Baby Shower and they are really cute if I may say so myself and I sold my first pair! Yipee! I hope the moms that will be receiving them soon will enjoy them! I also bought myself some boots, pondered some crazy knee high socks, made a new shirt out of an old shirt and skirt that didn't fit anymore, and made a few new things for my shops. Little bits are getting done here and there and I am so, so very happy to be working again:)

Dr. Appointments and more secret experiments

Today was pretty much a day of waiting. Ciaran had his three year well child check-up and we had to head out first thing this morning. Three hours and three shots later we were home all cuddled on the couch watching Tom and Jerry pick on each other relentlessly. I decided to spend a little of that time drinking more coffee, sorting laundry and starting some more secret experiments. My latest adventure has been dabbling a bit in herbal concoctions and just seeing what happens. So I spent the few moments while I was not needed putting some oils together. I wonder if I will get mold or ants. I will be surprised if I have any success but it's worth a try, right?

As for shop stuff, I am busily working on getting a few more coin pouches and bookmarks listed this week. I have so much cut out and ready to put together it's just ridiculous! I just need little Ms. Edolie to give me a couple minutes of free time here and there. She is slowly getting there but I think it's going to be quite a journey before I get back to my old work schedule. I have to thank my tiny young daughter for helping me figure out how to manage my time better. She and her brother are training me well:)
