New Designs or More of the Same?

That is what my dilemma is this week. I am all done with crazy paperwork stuff and moving on to some intensive sewing projects. Mainly for me, I am in desperate need of bigger, stretchier clothes these days, has something to do with that whole being pregnant again thing. (Yes, I finally get to spill the beans! thirteen and a half weeks and excited, nervous, happy, overwhelmed, and of course sicker than a dog:) So I will be making a couple of skirts for myself, and a top or two. Should be fun. I miss sewing for myself. So, finding the time to sew for myself on top of stocking up my shops, and coming up with new designs is a bit much right now. I am pretty happy with the designs I have established already, but I always want to challenge myself more. So I continually think of improvements or new designs. It's driving me bonkers! I guess I will take the day to clean-up, organize, and get those thoughts all put in place in my head. I am sure I will eventually come to a decision..............and then I will probably change my mind...........again!

Forms, Forms, and more Forms

Today is my form day. I have forms, upon forms, upon forms to get done, copied, approved/and or mailed out. Somehow, Form Day is not very exciting. I wish it was but it's just not keeping my interest. I sure will be happy when the forms are all done though!

A Little Time Alone!

Mark took the kiddo to run errands so I get to hang out and relax for a few. I have decided to split my time between making a new cuff and perusing Etsy for new tee-shirts. I am itching for some interesting clothing right now! I hope I find something I can't live without. I hope to have the new cuff up and listed by Monday. I am really having fun with it:)

Can I Go And Play Now?

I got all of my chores done.......well, the ones that I needed to get done today, and I feel o.k. today. So, can I go play now? A walk, a trip downtown, a trip to the coffee place, a trip SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE! I need to get out of this chair and out of the house. Doesn't matter that it is pouring rain and I can only find my sandals. I just need to get out! Gonna bundle up the boy and hit the road. See you all after my adventure!

peanut butter and celery

Best snack ever! I used to hate to make it when I worked with the kids at the center. I would get peanut butter everywhere and smell like it all day long. It was quite a chore to make for twenty something kids. Now I can make it at my leisure and just sit and enjoy the whole thing without smelling like peanut butter all day. I have come to depend on peanut butter to sustain me through the day. It used to be bread and things like that but now I just want peanut butter! The celery is an added bonus, it's crunchy goes with the gooey and it's just perfect! I am going to go make some more!

A Nice Long Walk

We took a nice long walk through the fields behind our house today. It was surprisingly warm today, in the 70's and beautiful. We spyed lots of pretty birds, dandelions, berry brambles, two horses, and many, many other things. I hope it helped Ciaran get a little bit of that stinky energy out. I needed to put my thoughts in order so I could come home and relax. So now here I am, back at home, with super swollen hands, getting my plan into action. Do I finish my taxes first, my custom orders, or do the dishes? Hmmmmmmm, the only thing I really want to do is work on is my custom orders, but I also want my taxes out of my hair, and a clean kitchen. Maybe I will just make a quesadilla and let the swelling go down, and then put the dishes and the taxes off until tomorrow.

Snoring Contest!

I am a proud finalist in a week long snoring contest being held between Mark, Ciaran, and myself. Last night I was definitely the loudest. Sorry neighbors.
